Ramdan is About to go..

FYI...May be i dont suppose to publish this post....but its really very nice..you must read it.

Innal-Hamdalillah was-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'Alaa Rasoolillah, As-Salaamu 'Alaikum wa-ra Hmatullahi wa-barakaatuh

I pray you are in the best of health of Imaan.

So, how do you feel? I offered my Fajr prayer this morning to the Almighty and I sat for about half an hour in my peaceful living room. No TV, no noise, no traffic and my infant kids sleeping. The atmosphere was very refreshing as this is one of the best times to connect with Allah swt and raise your hands to the creator.

I also felt emotionally upset. This is most probably the last Jummah for Ramadhan, there is the excitement of Eid amongst the children. Kids are surfing the net checking out the latest games to buy for their PS3 and the sisters are busy getting their clothes made to perfection. Nothing wrong in this, ofcourse Eid is suppose to be a day of joy and happiness for the Muslims.

However, I felt very empty and still sad. Watching the TV over the last few weeks, watching the kids in Pakistan suffer, watching the parents suffer, learning about a 13year Palestine girl who got shot by sick Israeli Soldier leaves your inner feelings very much 'lost'.

'Lost', yes, I think that is the word I am looking for.

Trials for the Muslim Ummah continue and you do begin to wonder, is Allah swt angry with us? These tests are not just upon those kids who are suffering around the world, but they are a strong test for us.  We simply go through different cycles in our lives, for a period we start reading our prayers and become closer to Allah swt and then, it's back to the normal routine of life. We have all probably read our prayers this month, kept away from the cinema, rap music, and then;  on Eid's day the BMW convertibles will be out with the music 'pumping' into the air.

Please Muslims, enjoy Eid , but quit the rap music 'pumping' in the air for respect of all those kids around the world who have suffered. Have some self respect?

Brothers and sisters. These are our last 6-7days of Ramadhan. Please, quit thinking too much about Eid right now. Remain focused and start from tonight, brothers get into the musjid and raise your hands to the creator and ask for forgiveness. It's not too late. You can do it.

As I sat during this morning I thought of how I have sinned. You are my brothers and sisters in Islam. I am no saint. We have all made mistakes in our life and we ask Allah swt for forgiveness.

Sadly, there are still some Muslims who drink alcohol, are still clubbing and are just so impressed with the duniyas pleasures. It does not last. I have seen a few grey hairs that are starting to creep from my full set of hair. SubhanAllah. It also makes me reflect upon the hadith where the Prophet PBUH said there are 2 things a Muslim craves for as he gets older, his youth and more wealth. I am not old, but I certainly feel less energetic compared to what I was like at the youth age of 21.

Last year, I knew the some people…

They did not make it for this Ramadhan. May Alalh swt give them the highest place in Jannah. I don't know if I will be here next year. You, the person reading this email, certainly don't know if you are going to be here next year. Count on your fingers how many people you know who did not make it for this Ramadhan. Even if you have to think of a celebrity, I am sure you can count on your fingers. Remember, you are in the grave alone, your loved ones just lay you there to rest and walk away. It is very scary.

Take action now. Just start from the basics and everything else will fall in place. Get your prayers in order.. the prayers, the prayers, the prayers. Get an Aazzaan clock and put it in your living room so that the call of Allah swt can be actioned. Your prayers, reading the Quraan , fasting will serve as your court of defence in the grave and on Judgement day. Use these tools to help you into Jannah. In the next 6-7days, raise your hands to Allah swt & make Duaa to Allah swt. Make Duaa for the Muslim Ummah, for yourself, for your parents and ask Allah swt for a place in Jannah. Yes, you read correct, ask Allah swt, " Ya Allah, grant me Jannah, forgive me, forgive me"

In 10days from today, don't live in regret. Quit the foolish excuses of "If only I did more worship". You have this email which you are reading. What you do over the next 6-7days is your choice and your actions. Accelerate yourself from today please. If you are the man of the house, you have a duty to tell guide your wife and kids to read the prayer and guide them on the deen. As parents, it is your duty to tell your kids to read the prayers & read the Quraan, you must teach them. Bring your kids up as true Muslims because they will be the soldiers of Islam for tomorrow and for your Akhirat inshAllah.

So, what are you going to do? I tell you what you must do… Take action and take action NOW. Perhaps the night of Laylatul Qadr is in a few days, a night that is better than a thousand months.. SubhanAllah..!

"Verily, We have sent it (this Qur'aan) down in the Night of Al-Qadr (Decree). And what will make you know what the Night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? The Night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allaah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).  Therein descend the angels and the Rooh [Jibreel] by Allaah's Permission with all Decrees, (All that night), there is peace (and goodness from Allaah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn." [al-Qadr 97:1-5]

Please make Duaa for the Muslim Ummah during these last few days of Ramadhan. You just have to. If you and I are here next year, it is a blessing from Allah swt. If not, we will be in our graves…and what next?

Leave something behind you that will serve to defend you in the grave. Give to the poor and needy, cleanse your heart, contribute towards the build of a musjd and remedy any disputes you have with family and friends. Simply for the sake of Allah swt.

May Allah swt guide us all Muslim Ummah… My tears have just started as I complete this email, my return to Allah swt is going to happen one day. Am I ready for it? Are you ready for it?

I love you all as my Muslim brothers and sisters for the sake of Allah swt.

And Allah swt knows best
